Go-to-Market

Also known as: GTM, go to market, go-to-market strategy

The plan for how a product reaches and wins its first users — positioning, channel, and pricing, not just the launch announcement.

Go-to-Market

Go-to-market is the whole motion of getting a product to the people it’s for: who it’s aimed at, how they’ll hear about it, why they’ll pick it, and what they’ll pay. The launch is one moment; GTM is the strategy around it. I’ve run it across a 2M EUR LATAM roadmap and a B2C-to-B2B repositioning.

The hardest part is usually positioning, not promotion. If you can’t say in one line who it’s for and what it replaces, no channel budget will fix that — you’re just buying reach for a message that doesn’t land.
