Product-Market Fit
Also known as: PMF, product/market fit, product market fit
The point where a market clearly pulls a product out of you — demand outpaces your ability to serve it, and you can feel the change.
Product-Market Fit
Product-market fit is the moment the market starts pulling the product from you rather than you pushing it onto the market — usage compounds, word of mouth shows up, and the bottleneck becomes keeping up with demand. It’s felt before it’s proven.
The honest signals are behavioural: retention that flattens instead of decaying, and users who’d be genuinely upset if it disappeared. I trust those far more than any survey, because they cost the customer something to express.
